World Kobudo Federation
Gathering United Kingdom

🥋 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND! 🇬🇧🌍

The World Kobudo Federation Gathering United Kingdom 2026 has been a fantastic success!

After all the months of planning, it was wonderful to see martial artists coming together in Thetford, Norfolk, to train, learn, share knowledge and build new friendships.

The atmosphere throughout the weekend was exactly what the World Kobudo Federation represents — different styles, different organisations and different countries coming together through their shared passion for martial arts.

We were incredibly proud to welcome instructors and students to the United Kingdom and to see everyone training together with friendship, respect and the true spirit of Budo.

The weekend also included something very special — a Swedish para martial arts team made history by becoming the first para team to perform a demonstration at a World Kobudo Federation gathering.

A massive THANK YOU to every instructor who gave their time and shared their knowledge, every student who stepped onto the mats, everyone who travelled to Thetford, and all those who helped behind the scenes to make this event possible.

For Ju Jitsu UK, hosting this international gathering has been a very proud moment.

We set out to bring people together.

We achieved it.

We set out to create friendships and share knowledge.

We achieved it.
